Saturday, 19th April 2025: Life is Measured by Purpose, Not Length!

Scripture Reading: John 19:30 (KJV)
“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is Daftar Judi Bolafinished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

Reflections: Jesus did not die prematurely. He only gave up His spirit after He had fully accomplished His divine assignment. His declaration, “It is finished,” was not a cry of defeat but a victorious proclamation that His mission to bring redemption to humanity was complete. This teaches us a vital lesson: we must not exit this world until we have fulfilled God’s purpose for our lives. Jesus did not cling to life for longevity’s sake; He lived with intentionality, knowing that once His purpose was accomplished, He was ready to return to the Father. We must adopt the same mindset. Instead of merely seeking long life, we should seek to fulfill our divine assignment. Every day is an opportunity to walk in purpose, make an impact, and prepare for the moment when we, too, can confidently say, “It is finished.”

Prayer: Dear Father, Help me live each day intentionally, fulfilling the mission You’ve set before me. May I, like Jesus, complete my assignment and glorify You.

Confession: I will not chase longevity over purpose. I choose to live intentionally, fulfill my divine assignment, and finish strong.
