Friday, 18th April 2025: From the place of death to the testimony of life!

Scripture Reading: — John 19:16-18 (KJV)
“Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.”

Reflections: Golgotha, “the place of the skull,” was a place of death, a brutal execution site where criminals met their end. Yet, it became the very location where Jesus accomplished the greatest victory in history. What seemed like a place of hopelessness became the foundation of redemption for all humanity. The name Golgotha reminds us that Jesus meets us at our lowest point—our place of suffering, shame, and spiritual death. He bore the weight of our sins, carrying His cross to that dreadful place so that we could receive the gift of eternal life. Jesus was crucified in the midst of two sinners—one who rejected Him and one who embraced Him. This moment reveals that every person is faced with a choice: to accept or reject the salvation He offers. No matter where you are in life, even if you feel like you are in a “Golgotha” moment, Jesus is there, ready to turn your place of death into a testimony of life.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus at Golgotha. What was meant for death, You turned into a victory.

Confession: Through Christ, my place of sorrow becomes a place of victory. www.prediksiboladunia.com
