Wednesday, 8th March 2017: A setback in life can be a roadway to your divinely appointed blessings!

Scripture Reading: Gen 50:20
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Reflection: Joseph must have felt very disappointed when his brothers ganged up against him and sold him into slavery. It was a real setback in his life. Years later in life, in the land of Egypt where he served as a slave, he rose to prominence by divine arrangement. His position now as the Prime Minister demanded that people bow before him any time they approach him. The search for food by his brothers in the time of famine eventually brought them to Egypt. As they bowed before him, the scene was set for Joseph to remember that the evil treatment meted out to him by his brothers had turned out to be a blessing. How could he have become the prime minister in Egypt if they had not sold him as a slave? A setback in life can be a roadway to your divinely appointed blessings! In everything learn to give God thanks and trust Him to see you through life’s circumstances.

Confession: I will not cry over any mishap that occurs in my life. It can be the roadway to my divinely appointed blessings. All things shall work together for my good in Jesus name.
