Scripture Reading: Psalm 105: 19-22
Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. The king sent and loosed him, even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house and ruler of all his substance: To bind his princes at his pleasure and teach his senators wisdom.
Reflections: Life in prison for a crime he had not committed had not been easy for him. What a surprise it was for Joseph when Pharaoh requested to see him. Suddenly the chains were off his feet, and his prison rope was cast off and replaced with a ‘civilian’ one. Hurriedly he is brought before Pharoah to interpret his dream. The occasion proved not just to be a pathway to a civilised life of freedom but an appointment to a life of celebration! Astounded by his interpretation, the king decorates Joseph with royal honours and appoints him as a ruler in Egypt. This was all ARRANGED by God, who never forgets his children. Like Joseph, you are on God’s mind, and a divine arrangement to change your circumstances is on it’s way. You will have the testimony of God’s faithfulness!
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for being on your mind. I can see a divine intervention coming my way.
Confession: I am on God’s mind.
