Scripture Reading: Daniel 10:7-8
And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore, I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

Reflections: Daniel had a supernatural experience while walking with friends along the Hiddekel River. His companions couldn’t see what he saw, but they could feel something was wrong with the atmosphere. Daniel saw a Beryl-like man in his vision. The man wore linen with a gold belt and had a lightning-like face. He had burning torches for eyes, polished bronze arms and legs, and a crowd-like voice. Daniels’s coworkers fled in fear, leaving Daniel alone. After their departure, the vision became more apparent to Daniel, and he was able to receive all the divine information God had for him. It was obvious that God needed to take away anything that would divert Daniel’s focus so that he could receive the essential heavenly knowledge. God can eliminate any distractions that might prevent you from receiving what He has in store for you when He demands your focus.

Prayer: Dear Lord, let anyone who will distract me from having supernatural encounters be driven away from me.

Confession: God will remove distractions so I can hear him.
