Scripture Reading: Psalm 84:5. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
Reflections: The Psalmist concludes that a man whose strength is derived from the Lord is blessed. The word ‘blessed’ used here has a critical information to share. Translated from the Hebrew word ‘Asher’ it denotes happiness derived from a life that surges forward all the time. By implication, divine strength overthrows and disallows a life of stagnation, retrogression, marking time etc. It only promotes progressiveness which ends up making one happy. Blessed with divine strength, you are marked for progress and rapid development in every sphere of life. You will move forward in life!
Prayer: Thank you Lord that I am blessed with divine strength!
Confession: I derive my strength from the Lord. I am blessed. I move forward in life.
