Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen against me, such as breathing out cruelty.

Reflections: One way we can become limited in life is through the actions of false witnesses. A false witness is someone who tells lies about you to others. These lies can create untold challenges and problems in your life. For example, Joseph was sent to prison because of false witnesses (Gen 39:29). Similarly, Stephen was set up by false witnesses, which eventually led to his death (Acts 6:9-15). Naboth also lost his life due to false witnesses hired by Jezebel (1 Kings 21:9-12). When David learned his enemies were deploying false witnesses against him, he called the Lord for help. We should follow in his footsteps and ask God to protect us from the activities of false witnesses. Your path to fulfilment will be ensured once these forces are neutralised. Stay free from false witnesses!
