Scripture Reading: Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Reflections: It took boldness for Peter and John to heal the lame man at the beautiful gate. This miracle infuriated the rulers who arrested them. Their plan was to intimidate the Apostles to the point of making them quit the preaching of the gospel. This strategy failed as the Apostles boldly declared that they will not keep their mouth shut. Later when they were released from cells, the Apostles prayed and asked the Lord to increase their boldness. They knew that without boldness they will not get far. Boldness is the courage and willingness to take risks and act innovatively. Indeed, you cannot go far without it!
Prayer: Dear Lord, fill me with your Spirit and make me bold in life.
Confession: I refuse to be intimidated in life. I take bold decisions and I get them implemented with all boldness.
