Scripture Reading: 2Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord
Reflections: A mirror is a flat piece of glass which reflects light, so that when you look at it you can see yourself reflected in it. As long as you can see your reflected image, you are enabled to evaluate your looks and to apply any change you deem necessary on your body. No one therefore looks into a mirror with a veiled or covered face. It will be such a useless venture. The Apostle Paul likens the use of the mirror to how the word of God enables our lives to change into that of the glorious image of Christ. A constant look into the ‘mirror’ of the word of God, brings to your view the image of Christ. As you compare it with your life, you are confronted with moral and spiritual changes you need to undergo to enable you transform into the very image of Christ. As you allow these changes to daily take place, you are transformed from one degree of glory to another. It is time to move from glory to glory!
Prayer: Dear Lord, let me be moved from one level of glory to another.
Confession: I move from glory to glory.
