Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

Reflections: Joseph had a dream which foretold his future as a man of influence, authority, and power. His envious brothers devised a scheme to prevent the realization of this dream. They positioned themselves as dream destroyers and took action. After failing in their first effort to kill him, they sold him to some foreign merchants. They believed he was finished, but subsequent events showed otherwise. By divine intervention, Joseph overcame the evil plot and ascended to a position of prominence in life. As with Joseph, your dream murderers may have taken action to determine the fate of your dreams, but they will fail. Your dream will endure.

Prayer: Arise oh Lord and frustrate the schemes of my dream killers.

Confession: God is with me. My dream lives on.
