Scripture Reading: Luk 1:30-31 & 36
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

Reflection: Mary had no idea that her womb will bear the saviour who will be called Jesus. It remained completely hidden from her. Again she had no idea that her cousin Elizabeth who had been barren for years and had gone past child beating age was now six months pregnant. This also remained completely hidden from her. All these secrets were uncovered by her only when Angel Gabriel visited and announced to her that she had obtained FAVOR from the Lord. Divine favor will let you uncover what is hidden and kept as a secret. It enables you to buy into the mind of God. Indeed Divine Favor can accord you the rare privilege of uncovering secrets!

Prayer: Dear Lord, may I obtain divine favor by your mercies.

Confession: I am highly favored by the Lord. Secrets are uncovered before my eyes. I am empowered to advance in life.
