Scripture Reading:Matthew 26:10
When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
Reflections: The disciples of Jesus were gathered around the table with him. A woman who had joined them took out an alabaster box of expensive oil and poured all of it onto Jesus’ head. The angry disciples scolded her, saying it was a waste and the oil could have been sold to support Jesus’ ministry. Jesus explained that the woman’s action was right and that it was a prophetic preparation for his burial. Like the disciples, sometimes we may be too quick to judge and condemn others based on what we think is right, only to find out later that we were wrong. Take your time judging based on your beliefs, as you do not know everything. Rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me not to judge per my beliefs. Let your Spirit lead me.
Confession: I allow the Holy Spirit to lead me in my judgements
