Scripture Reading: Luke 1:30-31
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.”
Reflections: The angel Gabriel’s words to Mary reveal a profound truth: God has a purpose for each of us. Mary, a young woman from a humble background, was chosen by God for an extraordinary mission—to bring the Savior into the world. Her purpose was unique and divinely ordained, and it required her trust, obedience, and faith in God’s plan. God’s purpose for you may not involve a calling as monumental as Mary’s, but it is no less significant. He has a specific plan for your life, designed to fulfill His will and bring glory to His name. Like Mary, you have found favor with God, and He has placed within you the potential to make a difference in the lives of others and advance His Kingdom. Take time to seek God’s purpose for your life. Merry Christmas!
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for having a purpose for my life.
Confession: God has a purpose for me.
