Scripture Reading: Zec 5:7-8
And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

Reflections: Zechariah saw a basket hovering over the area in his vision. As the basket’s lead cover was lifted, it became clear that it was carrying a woman. The Lord’s angel, who had identified and branded this woman as “wickedness,” hurried quickly to close the basket with the lead cover. This shut the door to wickedness and prohibited it from operating against people’s lives. It is clear that while evil over people is orchestrated from the world of wicked spirits, angels of God stand ready to close the open portals of such wickedness. Any basket of evil with the lead cover pulled up to frustrate your life will be closed up and driven away by divine intervention. Wickedness will not be near you!
