Scripture Reading: Act 18:15-16
But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.And he drave them from the judgment seat

Reflections: The Jews attacked Paul and dragged him into court. They accused him of teaching people to worship God in ways that contradicted their beliefs and asked the court to halt his ministry. They were confident that they would win the case. However, just as Paul was about to respond to the accusations, the Judge, Gallio, intervened and dismissed the case as frivolous. He even drove Paul’s accusers out of the courtroom to humiliate them. This shows how God fights our battles. People who are envious of you may band together to prevent you from fulfilling your destiny. However, as in the case of Paul, God will take over the fight and grant you victory.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you that you fight my battles.

Confession: God fights my battles.
