Scripture Reading: Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Reflection: The will of man is his ‘power’ to make decisions and to take actions. It acts on the basis of processed information which comes from the mind. The kind of information the mind receives is therefore critical to drive the will of man into any particular line of action. In order to know and to walk in the will of God, the Apostle Paul admonishes that we feed our mind with the WORD of God. The more scriptures we receive, meditate on and subscribe to, the more we get our minds tuned up (renewed and transformed) with Godly information to affect our actions. The end result is that what we choose to do what will be in sync with the will of God. It is therefore clear that your mind must be engaged by the WORD of God in order for you to be able to know and walk in His will. It is time to study the WORD and to get its content into your mind and spirit more than ever. By this you will prove ‘what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God’.
Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to get my mind engaged by your infallible WORD.
Confession: My mind is constantly engaged by the WORD of God. I am enabled to know and walk in His will.
