Scripture Reading: 2Kings 3:18
And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.

Reflections: God came to the aid of Israel and her allied forces as they sought to quell the rebellion of the Moabites. Through Prophet Elisha, God assured them of victory. The victory was indeed made possible when God caused the sun’s reflection over the water in the ditches that served the allied forces to look like blood. This sight of blood got the Moabites to think that the allied forces had mysteriously killed themselves. They, therefore, approached their camp with a mindset to gather spoils rather than to fight. They paid dearly for this as the allied forces surprised them with the least expected attack. By making water look like blood, God moved the Moabite army into deception and made it easy for Israel and her allied forces to win the war. Like Israel, God will make it easy for you to overcome oppositions in life!

Prayer: Dear Lord, make it easy for me to overcome every opposition in my life.

Confession: God makes it easy for me to overcome oppositions.
