The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;

Reflections: The author of Proverbs praises the locust for its unique wisdom. Locusts are a particular species of grasshopper. They start living independently, but they learn to sense each other’s presence as their numbers increase. Instead of avoiding each other, they are attracted to one another and start moving together in organized groups, causing destruction to farms and consuming everything in their path. The essential wisdom highlighted by the author of Proverbs is their ability to shift from solitary living to social interaction, which helps them achieve their goals. Like the locust, you must build strong relationships and leverage your network to reach your life objectives. Remember to consider the value of social connections!
