Wednesday, 14th February 2024: Learn to motivate others to succeed!

Scripture Reading: Joshua 15:16-16 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife. And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah, his daughter to wife.

Reflections: When Israel was conquering Canaan, Caleb showed a number of leadership traits. Among these was his capacity to inspire people to reach their goals. This is demonstrated with his capture of the city of Debir. He retreated from his role as a front-line commander at this point, offering his daughter’s hand in marriage to the first person to vanquish Debir’s army. Inspired by his proposal, Othniel accepted the challenge and prevailed. Like Caleb, you must develop the ability to inspire and encourage others to work towards their objectives, particularly during trying circumstances. A goal-oriented quality motivation pushes people to put in a lot of effort and accomplish their goals. Be there to motivate others to succeed!.

Prayer: Dear Lord, may I consistently inspire and encourage others to succeed.

Confession: I motivate others to succeed.
