Scripture Reading: Acts 16:30-32
“And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.”
Reflections: We witness a life transformed by a single, sincere question: “What must I do to be saved?” The jailer’s urgency and humility moved Paul and Silas to share the simplest, yet most profound message of hope—faith in Jesus Christ brings salvation not only to him, but to his entire household. This passage challenges us to be quick and bold in our response to every opportunity God gives us. Whether it’s a chance conversation at work, a moment of vulnerability with a neighbor, or an unexpected question from a stranger, we are called to share the gospel without delay. Every interaction is an invitation to lead others to Christ and to let them experience the same transforming love and grace that has changed our lives. As we go about our day, let us keep our hearts attuned to God’s promptings. When the opportunity arises, be ready to say, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,”!
Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize and seize every opportunity to share Your love.
Confession: I recognize and seize every opportunity to share God’s love
