Scripture Reading:2 Cor 10:4-5
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Reflections: Paul submits that there’s a war we fight us Christians which is beyond the natural and that as a result we use divine weapons rather than physical weapons to fight this supernatural war. He goes on to further submit that in this warfare, we knock down strongholds of human reasoning, destroy false arguments, disengage anything thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God and capture rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. A close examination of these battle target areas reveals that they are mental in nature, and as a result, implies that a spirit can affect our thought processes and cause us to adopt attitudes that are against God’s desire. Anytime you notice your thought patterns are not in line with Scripture, immediately cast out any such spirits from your mind and negate the influence they have over you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for spiritual weapons to free my thoughts from demonic influence
Confession: My mind is free from any demonic influence.
