Tuesday, 8th March 2016: Increase of your observatory skills : It will help you to draw vital conclusions in life!

Scripture  Reading: Mathew 16:1-3 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Reflection: A discourse ensued between Jesus and the Pharisees. The Pharisees wanted a sign from Jesus. Jesus began his response by referring them to how easily they could discern weather patterns and yet fail to use the same methodology to discern the signs of the times. In this submission, Jesus draws our attention to how observatory skills can help us to draw sound conclusions. You can’t live a life where you don’t take a cue from what’s goes on around you. To know and understand what goes on around you therefore, you must be observant. Thus when you consciously and keenly observe what goes on around you, you are more likely to understand issues better and this will position you to make good judgments in life. God expects you to increase the use of your observatory skills in life. You will be glad you did. You will obtain vital information for wisdom based living.

Prayer: Lord, please help me to be more observant in life and to learn from every observation I make.
