Scripture Reading: Isaiah 48:17
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Reflections: Israel found themselves in captivity. They had allowed this to happen because they transgressed the laws of God. God in His merciful mandate begins to assure them of their redemption. He reminds them of who He is and what He will be doing as part of His plans to restore them. He tells them ‘I am the one who teacheth thee to profit’. The word ‘profit’ means to make gains. God was thus informing Israel that He was going to teach them how to succeed and make it in life. Success strategy therefore lies with God. He demonstrated this in the life of Jacob as an employee of Laban. He revealed to him in a dream the strategy to increase his business portfolios. This catapulted Jacob from the realm of lack and servanthood to the realm of wealth and overlordship (Genesis 30:25-43, 31:7-13). As a covenant child of God, once you depend on Him, He will give you the strategy you need in order to become successful in life. You are made to profit!

Prayer: Dear Lord, show me what to do to breakthrough in life and become successful to your glory.

Confession: I walk on the path of greatness. I depend on God for every success strategy i develop and implement in life.
