Tuesday, 5th April 2016: Without strategies, you will not be effective in what you seek to do in life!

Scripture Reading: Numbers 10:1-2
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

Reflection: Moses had a task at hand. He was appointed by God to lead the people of Israel to the promise land. As he led, he definitely had to be communicating with the people. It was not an easy task doing this with over 600,000 adult men-(Numbers 11:21). This number was less that of women an children. To be effective in achieving his communication goals, God introduced Moses to a strategy. The strategy was to engage the use of the sound of trumpets in giving specific instructions. Now Moses would not have to go round any longer trying to get people informed with specific messages. The trumpet strategy will make his work easier and effective. Different sounds of the trumpet will now carry different messages to the people at once. Without strategies, you will not be effective in whatever you seek to achieve in life. Look for ways to be effective in what you do in life! God expects you to do that. Ask HIM for wisdom.

Prayer: Oh Lord, let me be embedded with ideas to develop strategies which will make me effective in achieving any given task in life.
