Tuesday, 4th January 2022: Versatility puts you ahead of any competition!

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 16:18
Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.

Reflections: King Saul came under a demonic attack. He needed a harp player to help bring deliverance to his condition. The search went on and David, a young boy was identified as the choicest. Interestingly, his selection was not only based on how well he played the harp but on other key qualities. These included his physical strength, warfare skills, wisdom, pleasant looks and evidence of walking in fellowship with God. David, therefore, proved to have qualities that made him versatile in life. To be versatile is to have the ability to adapt to many different functions or activities. Versatility puts you ahead of any competition and makes you the choicest candidate. Like David, in this new year, develop and position yourself as a versatile person.

Prayer: Oh Lord, help me function as a versatile person this new year.

Confession: I am a versatile person. I adapt with ease and survive under any condition.
