Scripture Reading: Psalm 23:5
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointers my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Reflection: In his submission about the role God plays in our lives as our Shepherd, David adds ‘Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies’. ‘ Thou Preparest’ speaks of divine arrangement while ‘ table before me’ refers to an uplifted life. Thus God has an arrangement to get you to a place of celebration in life. David encountered this severally. Notable amongst such experiences was his victory over Goliath which gave him access to the palace. When his father asked him to send food supplies to his brothers on the battle field, he had no idea he will be meeting and killing Goliath which will send out his fame throughout Israel (1Sam 17). Certainly this was a divine arrangement!. Divine arrangement plays a critical role in our lives and it is a key subject of discussion in the bible. We will always need it to make it to the top and to fulfill our destinies. You will not want to miss any divine arrangement for your life. Ask God to connect the steps you take in life to what he has divinely arranged for you. A life of celebration shall surely await you!
Prayer: Oh Lord, prepare a table for me even in the presence of my enemies!
Confession: My steps are divinely ordered. I am walking within what has been divinely arranged for my life. Divine arrangement is taking me to my place of celebration in life. My enemies cannot stop this process.
