Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 3:8-9 (KJV)
“And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. Therefore, Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he calls thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So, Samuel went and lay down in his place.”

Reflections: Samuel was divinely ordained to be a great prophet, bridging the gap between God and His people. Yet, as a young boy, he was unaware of this destiny. Three times he heard a voice and assumed it was Eli, the High Priest. Recognizing the call as God’s, Eli guided Samuel on how to respond, launching him into his prophetic ministry. Just as Samuel needed Eli’s counsel, God places destiny counselors in our lives—people with the wisdom and insight to guide us into His plans. May you never lack such counselors, and may they be willing to share the guidance you need on your path to greatness.

Prayer: Oh Lord, Stir the hearts of my destiny counselors to guide me at the right time.
