Scripture Reading: Col 4:11
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
Refection: Apostle Paul’s words ‘these only have been a comfort unto me’, raises a key concern. The list of people he presented as those who made life comfortable for him as a pastor appears to be just too few. Some church folks, made the church a place of pain rather than comfort for his pastoral and apostolic work. Their unfriendly behaviors disturbed his effectiveness in ministry. This is unfortunate. It is apparent that in this life, you either become a COMFORT or PAIN to people. When you choose to maintain the position of being a comfort to others, you will certainly make the church, (‘our world’) a better place to live in. May you be found on the list of church members who are noted to be of comfort to church leaders and the congregation as a whole. You can make ‘our world’ a better place!. Go ahead! Ask God to help you!
Confession: I will remain on the list of church members who are noted to be a comfort to people.
