Tuesday, 25th February 2025: You Will Not Face Untimely Death!

Scripture Reading: Acts 27:42-43 (KJV)
“And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape. But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land.”

Reflections: Paul, as a prisoner, was on his way to Rome when the ship he was on encountered a violent storm and was wrecked. In the chaos, the soldiers planned to kill all the prisoners to prevent their escape. However, God intervened through the centurion, who prevented their execution and ensured their safety. Paul had a divine purpose, and no scheme of men could cut his life short. This passage reminds us that as children of God, our lives are in His hands. No plan of the enemy, no unexpected disaster, and no evil scheme can bring about our untimely death. Just as God protected Paul, He will also protect us from premature death. The enemy may try, but he will not succeed because God’s purpose for our lives must be fulfilled. At times, fear may arise when we hear of dangers or threats around us, but we must remember that God is our ultimate protector. He watches over His own, and His plans will always prevail.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for being my protector and my keeper.

Confession: I will not die before my time. I am preserved by His divine protection.
