Scripture Reading: Act 2:22
Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Reflections: Peter made a statement to the effect that Jesus was a native of Nazareth who was approved by God with signs and wonders. This, among others, contain an important message. Nazareth was a little community at the time, and it didn’t seem to have the type of reputation that distinguished great settlements (John 1:46).” Being approved with signs and wonders” is indicative of supernatural influence that makes one powerful and unstoppable in life. Peter’s statement therefore, tells us that although the background of Jesus was limiting, He was able to come to the forefront of life and achieve His destiny by means of a supernatural influence. What matters most therefore, is the supernatural influence that backs you. Your origin is irrelevant and cannot limit how far you may advance.
Prayer: Oh Lord, influence my life supernaturally so I can advance and achieve my destiny.
Confession: I am supernaturally influenced to advance in life!
