Scripture Reading: Proverbs 30:26
The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make their houses in the rocks;
Reflections: Conies are one of the four small creatures whose wise way of living astonished the author of Proverbs. They are tiny, guinea pig-like creatures that inhabit holes in rocks. They have discovered that rocky places best suit their interests because they are frequently susceptible to predation. This potential for protection and safety afforded by the rocks is readily perceived and exploited by these species. Here, wisdom is demonstrated by their capacity to identify and seize opportunities to meet needs. This is a basic life philosophy that deserves adoption. Without it, one cannot make steady progress in life. Like conies, learn to identify and make use of opportunities to promote your wellbeing and safety .
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to identify and make use of opportunities
Confession: I identify and make use of opportunities.
