Tuesday, 22nd October 2024: Nothing is Hidden from God!

Scripture Reading: John 13:11 NKJV  “For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, ‘You are not all clean.’”

Reflections: Judas, a close disciple of Jesus, secretly planned to betray Him for money, despite knowing Christ’s divine nature and ability to know all things. At the Last Supper, Jesus revealed His awareness of Judas’ betrayal, demonstrating that nothing is hidden from God. This passage serves as a sober reminder that God knows all our thoughts and actions, even those we attempt to hide. Judas’ betrayal illustrates how taking God’s omniscience for granted can lead us down a path of broken fellowship. Unlike Judas, we are called to walk in honesty before God, knowing that He sees every corner of our hearts. Acknowledging this truth should inspire reverence and a commitment to maintain our integrity and relationship with God.

Prayer: Lord, help me to live a life that honors You in every way, knowing that nothing is hidden from You.

Confession: God sees every part of my life.
