Scripture Reading: Exo 12:27
That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when he smote the Egyptians and delivered our houses. And the people bowed their heads and worshipped.
Reflections: Through Moses, God afflicted the Egyptians with ten different plagues. The exciting thing was that the dwelling place of Israel in Egypt (Goshen) was never affected by any of those calamities. Each plague was meant to mount up the needed pressure on Pharoah so he would release the people of Israel from servitude. The tenth plague proved too much for him and his gods to bear. God sent an angel to kill all the firstborn males of both man and beast in the land of Egypt. Pharoah therefore loosened his grip on the people of Israel and conceded to their request for freedom, hands down. Like it happened to Pharaoh, God will mount pressure on any system holding you back from encountering the manifestation of His prophetic blessings over your life until it looses its grip. What God has said in your life is soon coming to pass!
Prayer: Dear Lord, mount pressure on my enemies so they will yield to what you have said concerning my life.
Confession: My enemies are under divine pressure. They will bow!
