Scripture Reading: Daniel 7:1
In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.
Reflections: Daniel had the gift of dreams and visions. A vision is a revelatory mechanism that enables you to see what the rational or ordinary eye cannot see. Dreams, also a revelatory means, on the other hand, are mental images and emotions you receive when you are asleep. Daniel is noted to have the practice of recording his dreams and visions, noting down all the minute details. This reiterates the importance of preserving information for future reference. Since we are likely to forget the pieces of information God allows to come our way, it is a good practice to have them recorded either manually or electronically. Like Daniel, learn to record information you receive divinely from the Lord. You will find it helpful in the future.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me record the information you share with me.
Confession: I do not take divine information for granted. I have them recorded for reference purposes.
