Scripture Reading: Philemon 1:22
But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
Reflection: Paul is kept as a prisoner. He is aware that people are praying for his release from incarceration. One of the people praying for this breakthrough is Philemon. Paul writes a letter to him. He asks Philemon to prepare a guest room for him. This is in anticipation for his release from prison. By this action, Paul was mixing the prayers of his sympathizers with faith. He knew it was the way to herald his miracle. Don’t just become satisfied that people have prayed for you or that you have prayed for yourself for a miracle. You must mix the prayers with faith no matter what. Mixing prayer with faith is indeed a required action for supernatural results. Paul’s faith mixing action was to ask for a guest room to be prepared even though he was still in prison custody. How about you? What faith dimension have you applied to your prayer life so far? A breakthrough certainly awaits you as you mix your prayers with faith! Keep mixing your prayers with faith!
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to walk in the realm where I mix prayers with faith.
Confession: I will not just listen to prayers offered to support my life. Neither will I just offer up prayers. I will always mix prayers with faith. I shall encounter supernatural results!
