Scripture Reading: Act 7:17-19 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, till another king arose, which knew not Joseph. The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.
Reflections: The Jews in Egypt were happy until a new ruler took power and made their life unpleasant. Strangely, this era of hardship coincided with the 400th year of their captivity in Egypt, which God had promised their patriarch Abraham would be a time of freedom (Genesis 15:13-15). Despite the Egyptians’ heightened harshness, the prophetic message was unstoppable. God sent Moses to lead the people to freedom. A prophetic breakthrough, as seen with the Jewish people, may be preceded by increasing hardships. However, these obstacles cannot block the fulfilment of the prophetic message. God will act on His promise and send someone to guide you to your breakthrough. Your ‘Moses’ is coming!
Prayer: Lord, I thank you that no matter what, your prophetic word concerning my life shall come to pass.
Confession: My ‘Moses’ is coming!
