Scripture Reading: Numbers 10:1-2
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
Reflections: Moses was entrusted with leading the Israelites to the promised land by God. The population of the Israelites included about 600,000 male adults, women, and children (Numbers 11:21). It was a challenge to communicate with such a large number of people. To help with this, God gave Moses a way to communicate effectively using trumpets. With this technique, different trumpet sounds could convey specific instructions to the people simultaneously, making communication more efficient. This method made Moses an effective leader, and we can also learn from him by finding ways to improve our work efficiency.
Prayer: Lord, help me discover methods to enhance my productivity level.
Confession: I look for ways to improve my productivity at work.
