Thursday, 7th April 2016: Don’t just sit down: Your actions are required to activate divine promises into manifestation!

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 7: 3
And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?`

Reflection: Famine had hit the land of Israel. Life was just unbearable but God had not forgotten about his children. The Prophet Elisha prophesied a change in events within 24 hours. As the clock ticked, people wondered whether this was ever going to take place. They just sat and did absolutely nothing. Suddenly 4 lepers who lived outside the gates of the city decided to make a move. They refused to suffer hunger till they die. They took a decision to step out into the enemy territory to look for food. Unknowing to them God was actually waiting for such a move! As they moved towards the camp of the Syrian army, God put the army to flight. The Syrians left all their resources including food as they run away for their dear lives. What a Jamboree for the lepers and for the rest of Israel. The action of the lepers activated the prophetic message of Elisha into manifestation. In life, you just can’t sit and cry over conditions that do not favor you. Like the lepers you must take a decisive step. This step will surely introduce the hand of God into your condition and your story will change! Remember your actions serve as activators to bring you the desired change you seek to see in your life.

Confession. I will never give up in adverse conditions. I will take that step which will bring into manifestation the change I seek to see. My actions will introduce divine interventions into my condition.
