Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 37:4-5
Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
Reflections: Ezekiel saw a vision of dry human bones in a valley. When the Lord asked him if these bones could live again, he expressed the opinion that only God could tell. He saw it as something impossible. In the conversations that followed, God asked him to simply prophesy over the bones and that as he yields to this command, the breath required to bring life back to the dry bones will be activated. To prophesy is to speak forth the will of God under inspiration. All Ezekiel needed to do was therefore, to command the dry bones to live again based on what God has said. As he complied, the breath of God caused a shaking of the bones to place, leading eventually to the miraculous resurrection of a large army. Like Ezekiel, your miracle can also be turned on as you learn to speak forth (prophesy) God’s word concerning the situation. God’s word is your key to opening the door of miracles.
Prayer: Oh Lord, I thank you that with your word, I can engineer the miraculous.
Confession: I stand on God’s word to speak over situations and circumstances.
