Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:13
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
Reflections: His mind was made up and for sure he came to Jesus with a believing heart. A believing heart is the heart that does not in the least entertain doubts but is fully persuaded that a miracle will be birthed. It is the heart filled with faith. The centurion told Jesus it was needless for Him to come all the way to his house to heal his servant. According to his argument, all that Jesus needed to do was to just speak a word of healing. Touched by the man’s faith, Jesus said to him ‘ as thou has believed so be it done unto you’ and his servant was healed at home that same instant. The centurion thus received what he came believing Jesus for! It is important to understand that you can’t have what you don’t believe God for. As you approach God for a miracle, maintain a believing heart towards Him and hold on to that conviction until you see the expected in manifestation.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me maintain a believing heart towards you all the time.
Confession: My mind is made up. All things are possible with God. I believe God for anything and everything.
