Scripture Reading: Genesis 8:1
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged
Reflections: All the people and animals were safe inside the ark as the rain poured down for 40 days. The ark sailed on the rising waters, and after 150 days, there was still no sign of the water receding. Then, a strange wind blew, sent by God to make the waters go down. With the wind’s help, the water level dropped until the ark landed safely on dry ground. Noah and his team joyfully stepped out of the ark, knowing that life would soon return to normal. This story demonstrates that God has a unique way of restoring normalcy regardless of circumstances. Like Noah, God can send a ‘special wind of intervention’ to rectify any adverse conditions in your life.
Prayer: Oh Lord, let the wind of intervention visit me.
Confession: God intervenes in my life and delivers me from my fears and troubles.
