Scripture Reading: 2Chronicles 13:15
Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

Reflections: Shouting may be a nuisance to your ears but it has a place in our praise life and in spiritual warfare. It engages the power of God to work on our behalf. The army of Judah for instance realized they had fallen into great danger. Jeroboam’s army had attacked them from the rear as well as from the front. They knew it was only divine intervention that could save them from this calamity. To engender this, they all lifted up their voices and gave out a shout. As they shouted they believed God for a supernatural move. God honored their faith. He came through for them, took over the battle and gave them the victory. You can also employ the use of shouting in your praise life and in spiritual battles. As long as it is faith based and spirit led, God will come through for you! Psalm 46 and many other scriptures give credence to the subject of shouting which brings God down to demonstrate his power to deliver his children from their enemies. Indeed God loves it when you give him a faith based shout (Numbers 23:21) and He will respond!

Prayer: Lord, give me the enablement to shout whenever I have to shout unto you.

Confession: I do not keep my mouth shut whenever I have to give God a shout! He shows up as my deliverer!
