Thursday, 2nd March 2017: Your personal testimony of how God’s word has transformed your life is vital to the transformation of other lives!

Scripture Reading: Ezra 7:10

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Reflection: Ezra was the priest and scribe who led the reforms of the returned exiles in Jerusalem. He introduces us to how he engaged the word of God in his life; he sought after it, studied & applied it and shared it. This order of steps is inseparable and presents to us the pattern to follow in sharing our Christian faith. Like Ezra, we must seek to make the study of the word our chief business, put what we study into full practice and be ever ready to share with others how our lives have been transformed by it. The results of how our lives have been transformed by God’s word should not be kept in oblivion. This is because the transformation of other lives is linked to it. Yes, your personal testimony of how God’s word has transformed your life is vital to the transformation of other lives! Share it every now and then to people you meet. It is part of getting the gospel of Christ known among others.

Prayer: Oh Lord help me to live by seeking after your word, applying it and sharing its impact on my life with others.

Confession: I will not keep it to myself. My personal testimony of how God’s word has transformed my life is vital to the transformation of other lives.
