Scripture Reading: Isaiah 10:1-2 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
Reflections: Sometimes without provocation people encounter situations where they are denied their rights. Others suffer several other fates and are subjected to all kinds of hardships. One of the underlying reasons for these is the presence of an unrighteous decree. A decree speaks of an official order that is enforced by law. Spiritually, an unrighteous decree speaks of a spiritual official order backed by a satanic force. When such an order is invoked over a life, things can go worse for that individual until it is revoked. God is actually against those who enact such decrees and He is ever ready to consent to the cry of His children to have them reversed. The story of Esther and her people is a case in point. Through prayers they overturned the unrighteous death decree masterminded by Haman ( Esther 9:1). Any unrighteous decree against your life shall be revoked!
Prayer: Oh Lord, let any unrighteous decree in my life be overturned.
Confession: Any unrighteous decree against my life shall not prevail.
