Scripture Reading: Exodus 14:15 -16
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
Reflections: When Israel came across the Red Sea, they believed their dreams were over. Additionally, the Egyptian army chasing them had closed the gap. They mumbled in fear. But God commanded them through Moses to go forward (advance). This logically implied drowning. Interestingly, as they complied, the Red Sea mysteriously split, allowing them to pass. The route to the miraculous is to obey God’s word. No matter how hard God’s word may be, your willingness to accept it wholeheartedly and without reservation causes His inexhaustible power to act in your favour. Simply put, you activate the boundless power of God with your consistent obedience to His word. Never cease doing what God’s word instructs you to do!
Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to obey you without hesitation.
Confession: I obey God without reservations.
