Scripture Reading: Numbers 23:23
Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

Reflections: Divination attempts to uncover aspects of a life through supernatural means, while enchantment uses those same powers to limit or afflict a person. Balaam was noted for such use of supernatural powers in the land of Moab and was therefore hired by the King to curse Israel. However, his attempts at using divination and enchantment against Israel failed miserably, causing his business to collapse. He realized that Israel’s covenant relationship with God made them immune to his powers. As a covenant child of God, you too are protected from harm induced by divinations and enchantments. No diviner or enchanter can touch you! Keep trusting in your covenant with God and walk in confidence.

Prayer: Thank you Lord that no act of diviners and enchanters against my life will bear fruit.

Confession: I am in covenant with God. No Divination and Enchantment can work against me.
