Scripture Reading: Matthew 2:13
“And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, ‘Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.’” –
Reflections: When Herod sought to harm the young Jesus, God intervened to protect Him. Through a dream, God instructed Joseph to flee to Egypt, ensuring the safety of Jesus and His family. This account reminds us that God watches over His children with care and precision, orchestrating events to shield us from harm and provide for our needs. In our lives, we may face challenges or uncertainties, but we can trust that God sees ahead and makes provision for what we need. His watchful eye is always on us, and His guidance comes at the right moment. Trust God to protect and provide for you, even when circumstances seem uncertain or dangerous. Merry Christmas!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for watching over me and providing for my needs.
Confession: God watches over me and provides for all my needs.
