Scripture Reading: Psalm 18:29
For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
David fought many battles which sought to resist his access to the throne. It was amazing how he had endured all the attacks that King Saul and his army had hurled at him. They had so pursued his life for approximately 8 years without success. Saul died eventually, paving the way for him to be enthroned as king. Through these life events, David (now fully enthroned as king over Israel) understood that God actually made him too strong for an army to handle and for a wall to resist. He noted that he had been enabled by God to run through a “troop and leap over a wall’. God is still in the business of empowering his children to run through a troop and leap over the wall. You too can be made too strong for any satanic army to handle and for any wall to resist. Why don’t you ask God for this enablement? He will gird you with strength and make your feet like the hinds’ feet! ( Psalm 18:31-42).
Prayer: Oh Lord cause me to run through the troop and to scale over the wall. Let the attackers against my life and destiny loose focus and perish.
Confession: By my God, I can run through any troop and scale over any wall. I am too much for any army and walls of resistance. Glory hallelujah!
