Scripture Reading: Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Reflection: To be led means to be directed to do something or to take a particular course of action in life by another. Whoever leads you in life becomes the authority over your life and they largely determine what becomes of you . As a result you must be careful as to who and what leads you. The Apostle Paul draws our attention on the need to allow the Spirit of God to lead us in life. He concludes by saying that ‘as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God’. This implies that the leading of the Spirit in a life serves as one of the marks, proves or evidence that that person is a child of God! When you are led by the Spirit, your actions do not contravene the word of God. You are enabled to walk in HIS will and as such you prove that you are an authentic child of God. Your life is therefore blessed by God! Watch who leads you in life! Let it be the Holy Spirit and not your flesh!
