Thursday, 13th March 2025: GOD’S WISDOM IS GREATER THAN OURS!

Scripture Reading: Romans 9:20-21 (KJV)
“Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?”

Reflections: As humans, we often struggle to understand God’s ways. When life takes unexpected turns or when we face difficulties we cannot explain, we sometimes question God. But Paul reminds us in this passage that we are like clay in the hands of the Potter. Who are we to argue with the One who formed us? God’s wisdom is far beyond human understanding. He sees the full picture when we only see a small part. Just as a potter has the right to shape the clay as he pleases, God has the sovereign right to direct our lives according to His perfect will. Instead of questioning Him in doubt or frustration, we should trust that He knows exactly what He is doing. Rather than resisting His plans, let us surrender to His wisdom. Even when we do not understand, we can be sure that God is always working for His glory and our good. His ways are higher, and His knowledge is perfect.

Prayer: Father, forgive me for the times I have questioned Your wisdom. Help me to trust You completely.

Confession: I trust in God’s wisdom. I will not question His ways but will submit to His perfect plan for my life.
